Amman, January 30th: Al Rai- The University of Jordan and Al Manhal, signed an agreement for publishing the scientific and cultural content issued by UJ on the electronic platform of the company.

Under the agreement, Al Manhal will establish a database for the content of UJ; especially books, publications, scientific conferences, and theses in order to expand knowledge and information amongst students and researchers at the university.

The agreement was signed by the Vice President of Scientific Research, Graduate Studies, and Quality, Professor Hala Khyami-Horani, and the general manager of Al Manhal, Mr. Basheer AL-Nasser in the presence of a number of officials at the university and the company.

Professor AL-Horani praised the leading role played by Al Manhal in the field of electronic publishing, which provides a wide range of information for academic and professional institutions. In addition, Professor AL- Horani noted to UJ's attention and keenness in expanding e-learning which enables students and researchers to keep in touch with scientific developments and updates, as well as raise their scientific and research levels.

In his turn, Mr. AL-Nasser reviewed the tasks and goals of Al Manhal in order to facilitate scientific and cultural exchange between publishing houses, universities, and research institutions in the Arab world. Moreover, Mr. AL-Nasser stated that Al Manhal headquarters, which is located in Dubai /The United Arab Emirates and has many branches in other Arab capitals, uses modern techniques and advanced search methods that make it one of the strongest platforms of exchanging Arabic content globally.

It is noteworthy that the agreement includes many items that deal with the parties rights and the mechanisms of implementing financial and administrative aspects.
